Working with manufacturers in the industry, Sub-Floor Solutions has developed a line of state of the art self-leveling cement based underlayments and toppings. By working together with several manufacturers to develop these products we have been able to take advantage of several different manufacturing methods and different chemical/cement combinations to determine which work best under different jobsite conditions and give the end user the results they need.
A list of our products and what they are used for:
SF-100 - This is our premium grade self-leveling cement based underlayment. SF-100 is an equivalent to many national brands such as Ardex® K-15®, Mapei® Ultraplan 1® and others. This is our best selling product and one of the fastest setting and ready to use products available in the market.
SF-80LW - SF-80LW is a specialty product for use where dead load weight is a concern. Weighing only 80 pounds per cubic foot, SF-80LW can be used where conventional concrete, self-leveling cements and gypsum products can’t. These products conventionally weigh about 120 +/- pounds per cubic foot and can overload a structure when depth is in excess of an inch or so. We suggest that you contract a qualified engineer to confirm what type of loads your specific structure will accept before applying a topping material.
SF-60LW - Similar to SF-80LW only 20 pounds per cubic foot less dry weight, SF-60LW is available for specialized applications where the minimum amount of add weight possible is required. SF-60LW will still provide you a 3,000 plus psi cement based floor topping just like our other cement based products.
SF-100P - This is our latex based primer that is used for most of our installations. It can be used on both porous and nonporous surfaces when applying underlayment that will be covered by a floor covering system. It is a simple one part product that is mixed with water and applied with a broom or sprayer depending on site conditions.
SF-100EP - SF-100EP is our two part epoxy primer that is used for installing underlayment and topping products to either porous or non porous substrates when the end resulting product is an exposed concrete surface that will receive a stain, sealer or epoxy coating. This epoxy primer ensures superior bond on any surface and helps minimize surface shrinkage cracks in the finished product.
SF-FP - Our premium Feather Patch made for putting the final touches on a sub-floor that is ready for floor covering. It can be installed from a feather edge up to ¼” without added aggregate. It is perfect for those last minute repairs such as filling small holes, caw cut joints and leveling between control joints that have settled slightly.
SF-TCP - Trowelable Concrete Patch is a heavy duty version of our Feather Patch. Made with a lager aggregate and a denser cement ratio, TCP is excellent for building up floors from 1/8” to 1” without adding aggregate. With additional aggregate this product can be installed up to 3” deep.
